Our shipping charges are calculated so that the monastery breaks even on shipping; we do not make a profit from our shipping charges.
Shipping fees are calculated separately for each address, and based on the price of what is going to that address. For addresses within the US:

For each additional $50 price range, the shipping charge goes up another $5.
